Custom bench seating

 The customer wanted seating that suited their minimal contemporary interior , was comfortable and also practical. It was decided to go for custom bench seat in leather.

Leather was selected for durability. We advised client to finish with 2 long comparatively narrow cushions to maintain the contemporary feel of the interior. The Upholstery Studio also decided top stitched finish on the cushion works best in this setting.

 The seating is 3.6m long and 650mm wide. The internal cushion is made from two layers of foam. The base layer is a 50mm firm with a top layer of 25mm soft. This creates a 75mm finish which is comparatively narrow without sacrificing comfort.

Built in bench seating is a great way to create seating in a modern setting with minimal fuss. Its also works well in window seats, creating a comfortable seat in a sunny spot.
