Leather wrapped Rails.

There are many different ways to wrap or cover handrails and door handles in leather. They can be wrapped, hand stitched leather or just butt joined, either way leather handrails require a high level of skill, concentration and sometime improvisation to complete. The upholstery studio is familiar with most methods. Knowlege of these methods can only be gained through experience. The Upholstery Studio is very experienced in leather handrails and door handles.

We can advise on which leathers can work best in different environments. Our experience with leather upholstery can be cross referenced to input into selection of leather for handrails and door handles. Handrails and door handles are , by their very nature, a tactile items . They can also be subject to wear and may collect grime. These are the reasons why leather selection is very important. If you have a particular idea in mind we are happy to work from a photo of image you find. We have relationships with steel workers and installers who can fabricate the handrail or door handle you want. These should be fitted by experence people only. After the rail is fitted we can come to site and apply the leather. The Upholstery Studio is very familiar with the requirements of site work.
